JBoy AAA

interesting.

on NNR, JBoy AAA gave me a challenge to essentially finish putting my double statistics on NNR, since there are a handful of tunes that i haven't kept good records on and haven't tried to pass since then.

I wonder why. Because i don't know enough about him, i can take it as either a "cool... someone else who plays a lot of doubles... i'm interested in how you do on the high end tunes" kind of challenge, or i can take it as a "Finish putting your records up so i can compare my complete scores with you and feel like more of a Man because overall i have better scores than you."

I mean, it's fun to see how i fare compared to other people on NNR, but i've never been one to think, "look. i'm better than you" unless that person is an asshole. I take a look at people that aren't as good as me, and i think and also say, "i was there once. you'll get to where i am." or even, "one day you may surpass me, and if i can help you do that, that would kick ass."

something like that, anyway. I'm a bit out of focus today. i should eat a meal. i've gone back to not eating a whole lot. i just ate an orange, and it was good. i think i could start getting into an orange kick again.

i wonder what i should cook for lunch.

Re:
:p

actually doing an atkins lunch. pan-seared chicken with lots of lettuce, pepper jack cheese, and jalapeno ranch dressing. i flavored the chicken with red pepper seeds too. i like my spicy food. :)

Re:
not on the diet strictly, just trying to moderate my carbs. every now and again i have no carb meals.

pondered trying out the south beach diet at one point, but i'm lazy about keeping track of that stuff.

i did try the atkins thing for a month or so. *shrug*

partially influenced by the gf who's been on the diet for over a year now.

Re:
yeah, understandable. i think any diet is really just all about moderation. that's impressive she's been on it for so long, most people can't keep it up. permanent lifestyle change really is the #1 key to dieting.... blah, blah, blah.

and you do need some carbs - like complex carbohydrates for exercise, etc. personally, i'm on like the opposite of the atkins diet... about everything i eat metabolizes into carbs one way or the other. yeah, veganism...
