4th style

playing 4th style too much in one 24 hour period makes your days a lot later.

out of fifty songs, though, i only have about six left to pass on 7 key. either the songs are easier or i've gotten a lot better at sight-reading, or both.

What's odd is that i think the screen is "shorter" or something, because on 6th syle, i can play on hi-speed 3, but on 4th style, i have to play on hi-speed 2 in order to have enough reaction time. There are certainly many tunes i can manage on hi-speed 3, but hi-spped 2 is more comfortable overall. I want to have two tvs side by side, have 6th style and 4th style running, and compare the screens.

anyway - it's time to do laundry.

I've really gotten into 6th style the past couple days, but I'm so new to IIDX that's the only one I really play. Beginner mode is my friend... sometimes.

i'm of the opinion that beginner mode is still pretty damned hard for people first starting out.

the lesson mode is good, but each example is too short.. it's a pain having to go through all of them with pauses in between and such.

you'll get it. took me a while to get good at it, but i got there.

Drill mode has been a load of fun so far.
