segments of catching up

The EMU here just picked up DDR Extreme (8th mix), so i spent a good two hours yesterday playing it or watching other people play it. Unfortunately the volume on it was fairly low so that when Matey and I were playing together whilst people were playing Time Crisis II next to us (with loud triggering guns), it was really hard to hear the beat.

It'll make the friday competition pretty interesting, i think. Probably a bit more balanced because more people will be sight-reading the arrows as opposed to knowing the tunes, at least right now since the tunes aren't unlocked.

I'm going through some post-recital depression. I took monday and tuesday off from school to try to shake it, and also shake the almost-sick feeling i've had recently. It helped some, but all of it still seems like it's on the edge - the depression, the sickness, the panic involved in three projects still due at the same time. At least the recital is over, and i think it was pretty successful. I might post some clips on here when i get the final CD, which i'm going to bug Lance or Michelle about today.

My thoughts are rather disorganized and there's a lot more to say, but i got up early to do more bibliography work before i have to go teach the high school kiddies, so... off i go.

Is DDR really that fun... we've got one at the game centre and no one seems to use it... maybe cos its next to the soccer machine and that is so addicting especially when the goaly acts all smart and stuff so you keep trying to win, but it's really hard and then the entire junior brazilian soccer team comes in and thinks you're a dick but yeah... la la la...

ddr is an obsession for me. *i* think it's fun, and i've gotten a lot of other people to think it's fun too.

I've never played that soccer thing, though, so maybe that's "funner" in comparison. My instinct is to say "prbably not", but i'm biased.

Re:
nah, you're probably right, the soccer machine isn't really fun, I just like kicking things... a lot... hmmm...

I said things but people do come under the things category... I can't help it, I just get these urges all the time to kick "things"... the good thing is, all my friends know never to stand in front of me so normally I only kick random people...
