data and conclusion

so i set my alarm for 04:14.

my alarm clock doesn't have a one-touch reset button - it's possible for me to hit snooze and not remember it, but it's not possible for me to turn the alarm off without reaching behind the alarm clock and messing with a switch.

according to the display, the alarm was still on. it whistled innocently at me.

i just woke up fifteen minutes ago.

conclusion: time to find a new alarm clock.

*sigh* you are my best friend if you can find an alarm clock that plugs into the wall that displays 24-hour time. And doesn't have a one-touch reset button.

considering the WEEKS that i tried to find one the last time around, i might just have to settle for another travel alarm clock. ah well.

I found plenty of travel alarms that fit the bill, but they're all battery powered. I don't know how close your computer is to your bed, but there's plenty of software alarm clocks that would work just how you need.

any particular recomendations? don't sweat it if not... i'll look around Tucows at some point.

I don't have any recommendations, but you might want to look here rather than Tucows.

I did a quick search and found lots of options.
