not multiple deck.

and if it were stud, it'd be *very* sexy, but no hard-on for that hand in razz. :(

yeah, pretty much.

in one of the poker books i have, they categorize players on an x,y plane of a range 0-9 where x is passive/aggressive and y is tight/loose. So if a player is pretty loose and somewhat passive, you might give them a rating of 6,9.

i haven't gotten good at using the numbers yet for fine-tuning, but even just playing on one table, it's pretty easy to pick up on the basic "is he loose? is he aggressive?" characteristics of the key players on a table after a few hands in which they have action. Then i adjust that impression the more i see, the more i play against them.

what i lose from playing a lot of tables at once is a) the ability to see players that are, say, 5,5 or somewhere around there, and b) the ability to fine tune my impressions of players quickly.

but even so, the extreme players are still pretty easy to see and to make adjustments to. as for everyone else, it becomes less important to read their play style correctly as much as just play your cards well and depend on others not playing their cards well, and that requires no psychology whatsoever.

which isn't quite as fun for me which is why i usually only play two tables at a time at most, but i was on a deadline to finish up my bonus, so i was operating on hyper mode.
