all of you fans of the 8-bit gaming and retro gaming/computing and such and may have even been of the same crowd of me starting on 2400 baud modems (or even earlier) have nothing on me, since i bet i'm one of the few of my circle that ever owned [an Atari ST].

and boy, do i miss the game [ebonstar for Amiga] (reject cookies)

I started on an 8086...but I wasn't on it for long until I went to the Commodore 64 which I used a lot.

those don't count. those were all mainstream. I had those too. But Atari ST? yeah. i'm the only one i knew at the time that had one.

My mind instantly made the relation to calling things 'mainstream music'...

The C64 doesn't count 'cause it's too 'mainstream' lol.

hehe.

the way i see it, if more than just a handful of people know what it means to do a ",8,1" so many years after the fact, and by sheer number of people that know the game "jumpan", it must be mainstream.
