- i've spent a lot of mental energy thinking about popsicle stand and this has minimized the amount of work i've had to do with it on the actual computer. The score will probably be ready by tomorrow for Devon to take to the drum line, and that makes me happy.

- all of the people who showed mild interest in going with me to seattle has opted not to go for one reason or another, so it looks like i'm going to do this one solo. it's a little sad because i wanted to share the car ride with someone, but i'm not going to miss out on the show because plaid plays a fantastic live set - it's what got me into their music in the first place. i also can't seem to find anyone to stay with up in seattle, so i'll probably be getting a hotel. not ideal because i didn't want to spend that much money, but it's still worth it. if anyone changes their mind last minute, let me know.

- a lot of my time on fb lately has been rekindling my love of boggle through an app called bogglific. it's also earned me about five or so new 'friends' on fb. hasbro has sent a notice to fb that bogglific is in violation of copyright and is forcing the developer to take it down permanently. as such, a protest group has gone up. i understand both sides of the issue, but as an individual that generally believes in public domain and community and the underdog, i have to side with the peoples.

- holy shit, DSR Squared is in five months.

- in the past two and half to three weeks i haven't slept through an evening for more than four hours with a few exceptions. it's the longest bout of insomnia i've had in my life. thankfully my work doesn't mind if i roll in a little late, and i have a lot of no sleep chops that i can deal with it fairly well, but it's annoying becuase i've always been good at staying awake or falling asleep at will.

them's the breaks i suppose.

You might want to try Noggin for a replacement on Facebook. It doesn't seem to really let you challenge your friends though. However, Scramble wouldn't work with my friend.

I'm glad Scrabulous is fighting Hasbro on this.

i don't like scramble much because the only option they offer is 4x4 (i pretty much play exclusively 5x5) and they also do that "all words count for you" thing as opposed to doing the eliminating of words from scoring which drastically affects strategic play. I'll look at noggin though and see what it's all about.

aw. I am sorry that I don't live in Seattle anymore and can't offer a couch to crash on. I mean in theory I could offer the couch that technically still belongs to me in the house that I used to live in, but I think my old housemates might get freaked out :)

I too would totally let you crash if I didn't live in dorms. Regardless, we should probably meet up and play some bemani at Gameworks (Popn 12!) or something when you're here.

definitely going to hit up either gameworks or acme or both depending. I was thinking acme would be better, but i heard that the iidx that used to be there is gone.

you still have the same cell number? i'll let you know what's up. KevinDDR on the pnwbemani forums also wants to meet up, i have no clue who that guy is.

Sounds good. Acme is cheaper, but GW has more stuff. I'd probably also need a ride if we go to Acme :O

Where is the concert?
