two quick blurbs:

during my lunch break i got a score on chainfactor basic that made the top ten of all time, but after i submitted the score it didn't show up. :( hopefully it's just delayed as opposed to lost.

whiny cats who expect to get fed in the morning are the most reliable alarm clocks in existence. the downside is that on the days in which i don't have to get up, there's no way to turn her off.

she's smart, though, and sometimes courteous - sometimes she'll whine for a few minutes and if i don't show signs of stirring, she'll stop miaowing and won't start up again until she sees me actually move to get out of bed. In that way, it's like hitting snooze except without having to actually hit snooze.

yesterday i bought a vacuum cleaner.

okay, maybe three blurbs.

I always used to make fun of the commercials, but after destroying vacuum after vacuum I broke down and bought a Dyson.

I absolutely love it - it has changed my life. I literally talk about it for about an hour everytime I use it - I love it so much that if it ever broke (which it won't because the thing is indestructible) I would pay the money for another.

JR shakes his head at me for being this excited about a vacuum, but I say it's the small things in life that make you happy...my Dyson is one of them :)

You are totally right about the cat-alarm thing. Wakes me up every morning. :)
