full tilt 2.0

full tilt has done a major update between the last time i played a week + ago and now, with two significant changes.

first is that their hand history is now set in 'movie' format, as in you can 'playback' the entire hand's history in a relatively brief step-by-step deal with rewind and fast forward controls and whatnot. this addresses one of my biggest beefs with full tilt, how difficult it was to do hand analysis.

The second thing is that they're now offering a new mixed game schema, a 7-game mixed limit schema: Limit Hold-Em, Stud Hi/Lo, Razz, Limit Omaha Hi/Lo, Stud Hi, No-Limit Hold 'Em, and PLO. It's pretty interesting, but what's somewhat annoying about it is that the NL/PL blind structure is reduced to compensate for the NL/PL difference in potsizes, and for some reason they made the max buyin be 100bb of the NL/PL blinds. As in, a game listed as a 2/4 game (which means blinds of 1/2 in the limit games) was given a blind structure of .50/1 in the NL and PL games, and the max buyin for that table was $100, or 25 big bets in the limit game, which feels very very low.

good stuff, though.
