oh yeah, it was this:

it's about a year away and all, but i do need to figure out how easy it is to become ordained to marry someone.

when i was at kate's wedding, someone told me that it's fairly straightforward, that i can do it online. i'll have to do the research on it. hopefully it's dumb simple and i can worry about it in december and still be able to do it by june. i don't see why not.

The friend who did the marriage ceremony for me and my husband was Universal Life Church accredited. We got married in Chicago and it was totally legal.

Yeah, I've been a ULC minister since 95, done a couple of weddings - AND, thanks to a bucks county judge, it's been legally precidented that my credentials are valid in the Commonwealth... might want to check with locality for recognition of the ULC and the local governance surrounding marriage (which is what led up to the lawsuit in PA)
