jubeat pc simulator

so i downloaded a [jubeat simulator] and messed around with it. I couldn't get the beta to work, so i had to use the stable release.

it's interesting because creating a simulation like that kind of defeats the purpose of its aesthetic, as in i have to get used to the key set up that's separate from what i'm looking at as opposed to pressing in relation to what i see. The second problem is that in order for me to hit 4-note chords at once, i had to keymap the buttons to be spread apart as opposed to together because otherwise those chords wouldn't register, and that creates another sort of disconnect.

but it's still kind of fun. guess i need to take a trip to japan or something. i don't suppose seattle has any jubeat machines do they?

I know Hong Kong has a few machines...but that doesn't help.

you should make a trip to japan.

honestly I don't like Jubeat at all, but it seems like the kind of game you really can't have a simulator for, indeed, because you are supposed to watch the keys and press them...
