Tyler got me completely addicted to this clever game.

The highest i've gotten so far is level 11. We were both wondering how far it would go since enemies on level 11 could be killed in one hit with the silver hammer, negating the need for the gold hammer at all. Either things get a lot harder, or the game is still in development.

I told you about this game so long ago! And the farthest I've gotten is level 13-- also with the silver hammer you can hit the chain things and get hearts every time, which can be helpful.

wait.... the chain things with the guys, or the just the chain things by themselves?

The spikey chain ball thingies by themselves. It's great because they seem to come up often in the later rounds so I just hit them with the silver hammer and get a heart out of it.

it does get confusing when you have to retrain yourself based on the hammer you get. For me, red enemies aren't hard for me to make an adjustment to because, but the idea that you can kill things that you normally avoid (coin stealers and spikes) took the most adjustment.

the number things are definitely the most important thing in the game, and i find that i treat them as something to ignore until i actually see the number whereas before i would pay attention to them and then fix my eyes on them until the number showed up. now if i start to see one, i deliberately look elsewhere and kill another enemy or just see what else is going on so that i can train myself to not pay attention to it going up.

Double-hitting the yellow enemies is something i've already trained myself to do, but even for levels one or two, i avoid double-hitting... i wait for a deliberately long time for a coin or heart to "settle" after bouncing so i don't get in the habit of double-hitting, because in the later levels i just go for the enemies. i kind of want to learn how to double-hit the spike balls once i get the right hammer, but by the time i have enough to get the right hammer, things are moving slightly faster than is comfortable for me to double-hit anything.

what's the first interesting level to you? and how far have you gotten?
