Post D2SSR Poker Tournament

hey all. I'm officially opening the Post D2SSR Poker tournament up for registration. Rules are posted on my website. If there's any questions about the nature of the whole "head hunter" thing, feel free to ask. If you'd like to register, you can email me or comment here. Priority will be given to D2SSR participants. the rest of the priority hierarchy is listed on the rules. i'm going to be giving direct invites to a few of my poker friends in town. If we need to, we may be able to up the seating to 50 (five tables of ten instead of five tables of nine).

if you are currently registered and then discover that you're not going to be able to make it, please let me know asap so that i cna open up the seat for someone else. if you don't register, i'm going to assume that you're not playing and start opening it up to other people as well, so don't assume that i'm going to register you.

Because of all of the organizational details and such regarding this tourney with the added element of the head hunter part, I've decided that i'm not going to actually participate in the poker tournament itself, just moderate it. Hopefully that will keep things pretty smooth both in terms of cash prizes and head-hunter stuff as well as any tournament logistic issues that may arise.

questions may also be addressed here.

That headhunter chip could potentially make things very interesting. I'm thinking it's now MUCH more profitable for a big stack to take -cEV gambles to knock out short stacks. An interesting twist!

it's basically a regular tournament. the head hunter thing is basically you win $5 for every person you take out of the tourney and you keep that money regardless of where you place.
