1. moving to new orleans, going to attempt to be there by August 1st.
2. I do *not* currently have the new Steven Brust book in my grubby little hands, and that is pissing me off to no end.
i still don't know what to do with my cat. and i've started to reconsider driving out instead of flying out. we'll see.
i'll post more stuff when i can, but boy is stuff piling up.

so i'm flying to OR tomorrow. can we hang next week, pleeeeeaaase?
<3
don't feel responsible for the mallory circumstance. katie and i decided to have mallory together. she was a part of our home. neither of us anticipated where we'd be today.
it's a tough situation - i don't know if i have it in me to take care of her on my own in new orleans. i have to think about it a little more.
you better continue taking care of yourself, you.
hearts.
We moved our 3 cats out to NC via airplane and it all went swimmingly. I thought they'd be terrified, but once they came out of their crates were surprisingly quick to adjust!
I am super protective of my kitties and I believe they were handled really well. :)
It also has to do with cost management. Taking this job is a pay cut and the cost of living is higher, and when i first got the cat it was with my live-in gf so we split the cost of cat thingies. Absorbing all of that cost wasn't a huge deal when we split apart because my job paid well enough relative to cost of living.
we'll see though. i am pretty fond of her. just want to make sure she's taken care of well, and i don't know if me in NO is the right person to do it.
because i'm reconsidering the idea of driving, i may breeze by the bay area, though. haven't yet decided, assessing costs.
If you drive, leave yourself some time to visit the Grand Canyon. Worth any and all extra time and miles :)
and thanks, sir. :)
*big hug*
i can't stress enough how much i care for you. if you ever need anything, you know how to reach me.
Enough of the selfish talk. Congrats on the job! :)
Congrats!
But I'm really happy for you. You rock, Mendel, and I'm wishing the best for you. I hope you'll have people near you who appreciate the awesome person you are. <3
It was great seeing you at DSR. And I'm glad there's at least the internets.
we will surely keep in touch. keep out of trouble, you. hearts.
I hope the move goes well!
Next time I'm down in NOLA we'll have to meet up, I have an employee and a few friends down there I'm planning on visiting sometime in the next 6 months or so. If you can, see if you can find your way to Jaquamo's... it looks like a hole in the wall but has undoubtably the BEST food in New Orleans.
Take care and (when appropriate) - Welcome to closer to the right coast :)
