most weekdays since i've been back in town, i've tended to get up around 09:00, go into the office or work from home until roughly 15:00, come home and nap for two or three hours from anywhere between 15:30-17:30, then get up and do work until anywhere between 02:00-04:00. this is mainly to cope with nola summers. it's been up and abouts 95 degrees and higher these days.

the downside of which being that sometimes when i wake up from my nap, i only have about an hour or so to hit the grocery before they close for the day and i'm not in the space to go out and do my grocery shopping, so i end up having crappy fast food options for food or i don't really eat. maybe a cup of yogurt.

i tried planning ahead and getting some groceries in between work and home, but that just resulted in me not feeling hungry until around midnight because i had a late lunch so i didn't feel like cooking and i still had a lot of work to do &c.

not sure what to do about this. my body is very much giving me mixed signals about the whole thing. hopefully it'll settle down once things get less busy. then again, things don't look like they're going to settle to less busy until sometime in september.

AHA i have an answer
I in the past have tended to work odd "twilight" shifts meaning i get home around midnight or 1 am and i have found the same issues i solved it with a SLOW COOKER.

I usually wake up pop to green grocers and butchers chuck the veg and chicken with some herbs or curry spices in set it to low and leave it on low. It will take about 6 hours to cook but can be left for about 10 if you wish.

By the time i get home i have NOM healthy food
